The Association AGM was held this week and was well attended by members new and old, from across the region.
The sad news was announced of the passing away of Mrs Iris E McGowran, MBE. An active member of the Association and the Conservative Party for many years and she will be sorely missed. The thoughts of the Association are with her family and friends.
Charles Kennedy was re-elected as Chair and following the retirements of Marion Kerr and Heather Kennedy, Damian Timson and Chris Donnelly were elected as Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
The Association thanks Marion Kerr and Heather Kennedy for their excellent work over the years and are pleased they will be both still be taking an active part in the Association.
